Dear Parents and Carers
END OF SPRING TERM LETTER
At the end of a busy term, as public examinations are fast approaching, we recognise as a Catholic College that our Lenten preparations lead us towards the events of Holy Week which lie at the heart of our Faith and for which we aim to prepare our College community.
End of Term – Friday 31st March 2017
This year, with Easter Saturday still two weeks away, we will continue our Lenten observances in College and so College will finish as normal at 2.50pm on Friday 31st March 2017 with buses available as usual.
Start of Term Tuesday 18th April 2017
College reopens after Easter on Tuesday 18th April 2017 at the normal time with students due on site no later than 8.30am.
Attendance and Punctuality Drive
Our drive to improve attendance and punctuality has had a positive impact with far fewer students now late for College and our overall attendance in College improving. Thank you for your support.
Revised Bus times for 656 and 658
One concern expressed by students and parents is that these services, although scheduled to arrive at College at 8.25am, have frequently been late. Students have arrived late to lesson 1 through no fault of their own. We have been lobbying Merseytravel who commission these services to address this issue and I am pleased to be able to say that from Monday 24th April (Unfortunately they could not start this on 18th April) the times of these services will be brought forward.
Please make sure your son/daughter is aware of this change.
Thank you for your continuing support for the College. Can we wish you a happy and holy Easter break.
