Home School Association

If you are the parent or carer of a student at St Mary's, then membership of the HSA is automatic.

We value highly the close working relationships built up in the HSA over many years. Our main aim is to support children's learning through fundraising for special and extra-curricular college activities.

We make a major contribution to the life of St Mary's by sponsoring many prizes at the keynote event of the year, presentation evening, when we celebrate our many achievements as a college.

The Home College Agreement, which every new student is invited to sign, was drawn up following extensive consultation through the HSA.

HSA Consultation Evenings are regular platforms for open and lively discussion of current issues. We always listen carefully to what our members have to say.

Our Open Committee Meetings take place in St Mary's at 7pm on the first working Monday of every month. Through these we plan our social events, such as quiz nights, race nights and our ever-popular car boot sales.

Please come and join us.  We always welcome new faces and new ideas.

Easy Does It

Here's how to raise funds for your HSA without lifting a finger. Well, that's not strictly true. The only finger you'll have to lift is the one controlling your mouse!

Simply sign up to easyfundraising.org using the link here.

Then every time you buy something via a website of your choice (only what you would normally buy!), simply login to easyfundraising first and St Mary's HSA will benefit. Most major internet retailers are part of the scheme. Try it and see!
